I started teaching Early Childhood Special Education at Bryn Mawr in 2011. Previously to this, I worked for Minneapolis Public Schools as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) since 1999. As a COTA, I have worked with children who have a variety of special needs in all the different special programs throughout the district. My special interest in early childhood led me to pursue and complete a Early Childhood Special Education degree at the University of St. Thomas. I am a long-time Minneapolis resident. I live in South Minneapolis with my husband and adult step-son. I have 3 step-children. 2 boys and a girl. I also have a 4 year old grandson.
